WORK PACKAGE 4: Point of view of learner This work package has the emphasis on the perspective of people in the training process, the development of forms of representation for career paths and proposals to improve mobility in the field of education. ECVET-TOUR “Career paths in tourism” (Video in english) “Karrierewege im Tourismus” (Video in german) Transparency, acknowledgement of competences and qualifications play an important role in the field of further education and vocational training in tourism. The young head chef of the kitchen in the restaurant M32, Walter Hintner, can already look back on to a successful career and characterize his history in this video. Hintner’s employer, Sepp Schellhorn explains what he, as an employer, is looking out for and which measures he takes for the professional education and training of his employees. WORK PACKAGE 3: Model transfer This package consists of the transfer of the VQTS model (Vocational Qualification Transfer System). The competence matrices were discussed and evaluated. Results ECVET-TOUR Workshop, Salzburg WORK PACKAGE 2: Analysis of key competences The basis for the transfer model will be created through the "analysis of key competencies" in Work package 2. This is based on empirical methods of social research (secondary analysis, qualitative interviews and survey) and begins with the creation of questionnaires and interview guides as a prerequisite for the subsequent surveys and their analysis.
